Green Communities Canada (GCC) www.greencommunitiescanada.org is a national association of non–profit associations that deliver innovative, practical environmental solutions to Canadian households and communities. Green Communities Canada facilitates the delivery of joint programs common to a number of members EcoSpeakers. A speakers’ bureau specializing in environmental and sustainability speakers including coverage a wa wide range of water-related issues. Prairie Adaptation Research Collaborative (PARC) is a facilitative, interdisciplinary research network established to understand the potential impacts of climate change on the Canadian Prairie Provinces and conduct research necessary to develop appropriate adaptation strategies. World Water Monitoring Day, October 18, is a worldwide opportunity to positively impact the health of rivers, lakes, estuaries and other waterbodies. Volunteer monitors are invited to test four key indicators of water quality: temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and turbidity. |
