For Presenters

Abstracts (250 - 500 words) are invited under the general theme ‘Information, Infrastructure and Environment: What Is Our Water Legacy?’ in the following topics:

  • Watershed management
  • Aquatic habitat
  • Modelling and analysis
  • Projects and infrastructure
  • Policy and governance
  • Monitoring
  • Irrigation and Agriculture

The deadline for abstract submission is January 31, 2010.

More Info for Authors

  • Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified by March 15, 2010
  • Authors will be expected to prepare an oral presentation unless notified that their abstract has been accepted for poster presentation.
  • Oral presentations will be approximately 15 minutes long, not including questions. Time limits will be enforced. Standard A/V equipment will be provided.
  • Presenting authors will be required to submit all digital presentation files prior to the conference for distribution.
  • All Authors (oral or poster) must register for the conference by April 30, 2010.

The conference organizing committee may invite selected authors to submit a full paper for publication following the conference.

Speaker's Breakfast

A mandatory speakers’ reception or breakfast will be held at the conference venue. Please plan to attend to meet your session chair, exchange materials, and receive a briefing from the program chair.
