15 people attended.

We are interested in holding such an event, how much would it cost?
The event was voluntary, with all costs (transportation, work-gloves, etc.) provided by the individual.

How long did the organizing take?
This event was a joint venture of SYP - Guelph chapter and Dept. of Geography. Hence, only two people from chapter were actively involved. The key tasks that required time were contacting the speaker, arranging an appropriate date/time/venue for the event and advertising.

What were the major challenges you faced?
Selection of appropriate day and time was the major challenge since people were busy with exams and submissions

Was it successful? And would you recommend it?
Yes we definitely recommend these kinds of short and effective seminars/discussions. A good informal discussion was the strongest point of the event. The speaker narrated her experiences related to water policies from all over the world. It was a very informative session.
